Since the day I got my Xbox 360 back in secondary school, I have been addicted to gaming. What can I say, it’s satisfying to jump into a game and forget the world. One minute you could be shoulder to shoulder with your brothers in arms whilst hunting down the enemy team and the next you could be taking a sunset cruise down Los Santos’s beach. Whilst dividing ourselves into social class isn’t really a healthy way of us all living together it is a fact that there are many different types of people. Call of Duty’s titles have taken us on an adventure from WW2 all the way into the future of space warfare, which is hopefully closer than we think…The Space bit, not the warfare. I personally preferred the older style of games and my all-time favourite was CoD: Modern Warfare 2. I think it may have been because it was the first game that I binged on when I made the move to PC but it was and is great.
Along with CoD: Infinite Warfare being released on November 4th, 2016. The CoD franchise is also having a throwback to what is arguably one of the best CoD’s that was ever released. Forza is one of the most realistic racing games on the market. It has forever held a close spot in the hearts of gamers due to its fine line between game and reality. Forza comes straight from the creators of Xbox themselves, Microsoft, so to be expected it is only available on Xbox and Windows PC but it does allow cross-platform gameplay between the two of them.
Skate is a game from the sport gaming gods of EA. It is a game where you play as a skateboarder in an open world where there are no limits to what can be done. There are some landmarks within the game that you’re not supposed to mess about with but it just adds to the fun when you get chased by a prefect. The latest Skate game which was Skate 3 was released a whole 6 years ago, you might be surprised to see me writing about this game but it was definitely one of my all-time favourites. Read More
Assassins creed is a third-person action-adventure that will keep you entertained for days on end. The games are set in a fictional historic era but utilize real historical events. So if you pay enough attention and get as sucked into the games as I did then you will also be learning a lot of great historical facts along the way.
